The lists of books for sale posted on this website are kept up to date as far as possible and books listed will usually be available although this cannot be guaranteed.

The listings give first the diarist's name (except in the case of anthologies) followed by publication details. There will sometimes follow a quotation from the book, and occasionally a comment. The condition of the book is then described, with any notable defects, and the presence of a dust wrapper (dw) is noted.

Descriptions of condition are to be interpreted thus:

Mint: as new

Fine: almost new

Very Good: showing some signs of use   

Good:  well used

Poor or Reading Copy: text complete but otherwise defective
